New Look for Industry Leading Vaccine

With their customers in mind, Boehringer-Ingelheim has recently redesigned all of their packaging on their flagship vaccine line Pyramid. Boehringer-Ingelheim Brand Manager Matt Williams shares

Williams: "Because this vaccine is so large in the marketplace, that we needed to really inform our customers and future customers because they are pretty far and wide between that the product they are use to about to look different — for all of the right reasons. It was all about creating a better customer experience. We've added beef and dairy images, we've added icons that will lead you to understand that the vaccine is for treating respiratory disease. So we've really overhauled every single element to create a better user experience.

Williams says there will also be more in-depth administration directions.

Wiiliams: "Every element about the packaging is brand new —- as far as the outer carton that the vials are placed inside. As well as the multiple vials labels for the combination vaccines as well as the package inserts. Its been a long time coming. We have revised our global packaging guidelines which were set 20 years ago. We are reintroducing a new look not only for the product but also for the company — and Pyramid is going to lead the way."
