6-3 SS Fish Contest

 I caught up with correspondent Rachel Bare told me about a pretty exciting fishing contest. Here she is. “Cabella’s is hosting a million-dollar fishing contest and I stumbled upon this when I was on the website for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and basically they are stocking ponds throughout the U.S. and we actually have eight of them here in the Northwest, they are fish that have been tagged and if you catch of fish you have a chance to win $1 million. Now obviously not every one of them is a million-dollar fish, actually there is just one, but anytime you catch one of these finish you have a chance to win something such as Cabella’s gift cards, fishing reels, sunglasses and obviously the grand prize $1 million fish. When you catch one of these finish you get the tag number, write down the species approximate weight and length, where you caught it and on what date. You have to use safe catch and release  protocol. Other than that make sure that isn’t the fish that got away, you don’t want to let that one slip out of your net before you get the right information. And with $1 million you can probably buy a lot of fishing equipment or even a house. Yes what about a house on the lake were you caught the fish. So does this give your husband  more comfort to go fishing on the weekends? He definitely has a better excuse now I would say that for sure.
