 DJ Trahan turned professional golfer in 2003, and was a PGA Tour rookie in 2005. He won his first PGA Tour title at the 2006 Southern Farm Bureau Classic and won his second event at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in 2008. He is featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings.“We were going to sit on a waterhole because it was hotter than all heck during the day and it was almost 80°. We knew that bulls were going to be going to water, especially during the rut as hard as they were working him so, we were going to ambush, we weren’t going to hunt bugles, and on our way in we see this monster. He just kind of stood there and looked at us. He had us frozen. We stood there for the better part of 5 min. and he just stared at us. Finally for whatever reason he just lost interest, he didn’t whirl on us and just take off,  he just turned around and started walking up the hill. I stepped out where I could get a shot and my guide hit the cow call and he stopped on a dime and he whirls  around dead broadside at 53 yards, I made a great shot and laid one into him and he knew something had hit him and he just was not all there. He made no attempt to run and he went about 15 paces up the hill, my guide hits the cow call,  sure enough that bull stopped on a dime again, he turns around and stands broad side again at 78 yards, I made a bit of an adjustment and center punched him.
