Charter boat captain John Unkart talks about his book Saltwater Tales. "I've been fishing my whole life, my father introduced me. I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay. A lot of salt water. Just a passion. It's like a lot of people who start fishing. The more I learned the more I wanted to learn and I found out during that time that I was trying to learn, no one wanted to share information with me. It is difficult. After I had been charter fishing for 10 or 12 years, I was writing for a few magazines and one of the editors asked me if I'd be interested in writing a book. That was Saltwater Tales. As the focus of Saltwater Tales I tried to make it very interesting so what I did was I wrote about actual adventures, actual fishing trips either with clients or family members. Photos were taken during most of these so you sea actual photos taken of the fish we caught and then during the course of the story, I explain how the fish was caught, what we used. One of the chapters is called 'The Bite'. It's about catching yellowfin tuna. I explain the spread, what baits are going on what line and what positions they are behind the transom of the boat as we are trolling. The reader is actually learning how to catch these fish."

it's a great read, Saltwater Tales published by Schiffer
