This is sportsmen spotlight with Matt and Tom. Today we have Justin Gibbons with Limitless Outdoors to talk about how he got into long range shooting and some key tools you might need to get yourself into long range shooting. So Justin how did you get into long range marksmanship?

Justin "Well, I had some friends getting into it at the time, but it's been kind of a process for me. The thing is with long range is to do it well you need to spend a bit of money. You have to have good optics, but more than that you need to really know your gun and spend time practicing at long ranges, because reading the wind is the biggest problem. You could be the best shot in the world, but you have to practice with the wind factor. But a sides from having good optics, you have to have an accurate gun. The most critical component is the range finder, because there is so many different variables. A good range finder that can calculate all of your ballistics and then give you what you need to dial on your scope is pretty essential.

Matt "What's your average long range distance shot you feel comfortable with?"

Justin " I'm pretty accurate out to 800 yards"

Matt "Wow! That's pretty impressive stuff. Justin we really appreciate your knowledge on long range shooting and as always, it's nice to have an expert in the field on the show."
