We've all seen the realty TV fishing shows where fishermen net hundreds of thousands of dollars. Wouldn't that be fun to have a chance to test your skills and fish for big bucks? What if I told you that could be you making thousands right here in the North West fishing the Columbia and Snake River for the Northern Pike Minnow Bounty. According to Pikeminnow.org Bonneville Power has been funding the removal of these fish for over 25 years. These are native fish to the northern waters. The goal is to control the population and remove 10-20 % and not eradicate them completely. Here are some quick details on the rewards program from a video off of the Pikeminnow.org website. To catch pike minnow it is recommended to use a size 6 octopus hook and some of the top baits are crawfish, chicken liver, worms, eggs, and soft plastics.
