If you haven't yet visited a dams fish viewing area, you are missing out on an interesting and educational experience. For those who have been you know what I am talking about. I can remember being about 9 years old at the Bonneville Dam and seeing my first big black lamprey eel sucking on the glass window with it's circular mouth. I had no idea that those were in the river I swam in. Fish passage centers are extremely important for anglers and biologist for fish counts on seasonal fish migrations. Here is Margaret Filardo, biologist for the fish passage Center.

If you would like to see how the fish runs are coming along go to fpc.org to view the data.
