Dave Ingraham's a good buddy of mine who has four passions. Hockey ( we play together on Sunday nights), hunting, fishing and his girlfriend Tenille Lambert. The other night in the locker room he breaks out a couple of pictures and I found out why Tenille is one of his passions. "Dave was bragging on you in the dressing room, showing pictures of a recent trip to New Zealand which apparently you gave him for what? His 50th birthday. Well isn't that nice. That's really stepping up. Well what do you give a guy who has everything? A deer hunting trip to New Zealand. Exactly. Did you research outfitters? What steps did you go through to get there? I called a buddy and he actually had a friend that went to New Zealand and did this. He was like Ohh you've got to go with South Pacific Safari, he said it was awesome and it just so happened that in the magazine, they were advertising it as well. I called and talked to the owner and I thought, I don't want to go through the Cabela's magazine if they are going to charge me a fee or whatever. Can I just go straight to the owner and he advised me to just go through Cabela's because it wouldn't cost me anything extra. That way we can actually help with your flights and just everything. Then she gave me Frank Cole's direct number with Cabela's and we went from there.
