Sportsman Spotlight team members, Matt Rice, Kelly Allen and Tommy Allen decided to leave work early and go fishing. Tommy picks up the story. "One day after work, we got a crazy idea, Matt, Myself and dad, piled into his rig, drove to an half hours and got back into a remote area where there is a river. You have to hike in another 2 miles straight down into steep nasty country and you can go fly fishing. It's just one of those places where people don't go because you have to hike in straight down and then hike out straight up. Dad had been there 15 or 20 years ago on a fly fishing trip and after getting all ready with equipment, backpacks etc., Matt hears this hissing under the tire and Matt is deadly afraid of snakes. When we looked closely, it was a flat tire that was hissing. While we thought it would make a lot of sense to hike all the way in, fish and then hike back out and have to change the tire. So we changed it right away and then headed on our way down to the river. We got some nice bull trout, this is one of the only places you can still catch them, you have to release them but you can still fish for them, and we also caught some nice rainbows and then the sun dropped down and we decided it was time to go. Got back to the truck, started driving out and dad got lost again. We ended getting home about one in the morning.
