Talking a little bird hunting with good friend Brian King. "I hunt pretty much all birds that fly. My favorite is chucker hunting, then pheasant, then quail, then I will chase ducks and geese, doves, sharp tail grouse and that's pretty much my limit. You shoot only birds that fly so that lets out penguins and emus. Correct I do not shoot either of those. Most important of all, I hunt birds with my dogs. That is the main reason I hunt birds and all the guys I hunt with hunt birds because we are all big dog guys. It's all about dogs. Unit from almost every bird under, they love watching the dogs work. What kind of dogs do you have? I have poodle pointers and right now I have three which is too many. I have Biscuit who is 14, Gravy who is five and Trapper who is eight months. We just got him a few months ago. Poodle pointers are fantastic around the home, they are good pets, they don't shed, but most importantly they are very versatile and good hunting dogs. They point, they retrieve and they swim like crazy."
