The Throckmortons

Erin and Joey Throckmorton are a a couple who love hunting and documenting their adventures on YouTube. "We have a YouTube channel that we just started and we are just uploading videos right now. I always tell people to Google giving back Namibia. That was our first episode, it goes right to our page. We also just got a really nice website done. We are in the process of getting all of our videos put on that. it's giving back TV.net. Let's get into a hunting story. My favorite one happened in New Zealand last year when I went go hunting for a red stag. But my favorite story is Joey last year hunting her Sika deer. They are these little tiny deer about the size of our antelope and they are the most vocal, aggressive deer that I have ever seen in my life. She went after them with a bow through the jungle. They had these huge bushes that they have some kind of flower that they make honey out of and we had to struggle to get through these bushes. There were branches everywhere and if I would've shot this deer with my bow, I would've been the first female to bow shoot a Sika. We went through the mud, had trees in our face and in our hair and I just couldn't get a shot with my bow. I ended up sitting down and scooting down with my guide Mark and he said just aim for the center of his throat, I did and he went right down.
