Scorsey's Adventure

In the time that I have known Korey Scoran, he has made a change of lifestyle from a Winnipeg born and raised professional hockey player to a complete devotion to the great outdoors. I asked him how that came to be. "Growing up, playing hockey in the prairies, that's all you did all year round and I dedicated my whole life to hockey so I missed a lot of the things growing up that I love. Now that I live in a place as beautiful as Boise I was lucky the two guys took me under their wing and showed me fly fishing and I just fell in love with it. Now that I am done playing hockey, it keeps my attention and I just love being in the mountains. It's just something I really enjoy. So you turned one passion into another. Exactly. Being outside in the beautiful rivers and streams that we have here, nice and quiet, throwing some rope, reading the water it just keeps my attention going and I love it. I am totally hooked. A time to get up
