While doing my "Outfitter Showcase" show on the Outdoor Network I have run into some of the nicest people ever. The premise behind the show is for me to go out and meet outfitters and find out exactly what it is that they offer, as in, accommodations, guides, costs, animals etc. I can tell you that at least in one instance an outfitter who was trying to market his services was not exactly what he was cracked up to be. So he didn't make the show. Marc Warnke Is the co-owner of a service called Got Hunts and he doesn't do television but he does do something similar to what we were doing. "The blessing for our clients and for us is that we have a very unique global perspective in the sense that we are a fly on the wall for the hunting world. For example, Québec is an area where the caribou have been in trouble in terms of their population and tags for about three years now. It has been very topsy-turvy, a lot of clients have lost deposits unknown to them. Had they called us, I have been steering people away from the wrong organizations in Québec for about five years and we are very selective with whom we work. Things like that as well as current FBI laws, what is transportable. For example, the Botswana shut down recently, we were in the know in that, another example is the current push right now to make it illegal to bring lions back into the United States, even if they are farm raised in South Africa and what that is doing to the economy over there. So I am a guy you can call to find out what is going on ethically anywhere in the world.
