Boy, do I have a real adventure lined up for you, given that you would like to go fishing in Alaska. How would you like to go fishing in Alaska? Fishing for Kings, Sockeye, Grayling, Pike and all of this occurring on a river. Sound too good to be true? Nope. It's true. I'll tell y'all about it in a minute.

Alaska's River King outfitters will take you fishing on the Nushagak River which is rated the number one King Salmon River in Alaska. It's located in Southwest Alaska where there are no roads, meaning no crowds. The guided service claims private cabins, gourmet meals, what they refer to as un-crowded pristine waters, where you can fish traditionally or fly fish and at the end of the day, how's this sound after a great dinner and perhaps the beverage of your choice, a steam sauna. From the middle of June until the middle of July you can fish for Kings, which at that time, are at the peak of their run. Trips are for six days and five nights and you fly into Dellingham, Alaska. You get picked up by float plane and land at their camp on the river. Here's owner Steve Sprague: "W e take you fishing as much as you can stand. There are 20 hours of daylight per day. You can fish until your body can't take anymore." To get in touch: www.riverkingoutfitters.com
