From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with your Agribusiness Update.

**Four Farm Bureau leaders, including American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duval, had a chance to express trade concerns to President Trump last week.

Vice President Mike Pence invited the group to a White House meeting with himself, Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue and chief U.S. Trade Representative Ag Negotiator, Gregg Doud.

According to agweb.com, President Trump unexpectedly joined the meeting to hear farmer concerns. The Farm Bureau leaders all say they’re confident the Administration has the best interest of America’s farmers and ranchers in mind during trade negotiations.

**The latest deadline the Trump Administration has given Canada to concede on tough issues and complete renegotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement came and went again on Friday. To finish the deal, Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue told CSPAN Canada’s Class 7 dairy policy must go.

Agweb.com reports, Perdue says Class 7 gives Canada an unfair advantage in global sales of milk solids and many U.S. dairy groups want a pricing structure that allows Canada to “dump” their excess milk on the world market.

**The National Pork Producers Council hosted a meeting with top pork industry insiders to discuss the threat of and protect America's pork producers from foreign animal diseases, including African Swine Fever.

More than a dozen cases of ASF have surfaced in China. To support the effort to prevent FADs, NPPC is asking for $250-million in mandatory funding as part of the 2018 Farm Bill.
