Colorado Ag Day at the Capitol

Colorado Ag Day at the Capitol joins farmers, ranchers advocacy group with chefs and consumers and legislators for a day of good eating and discussions about agriculture.

This year Ag Day at the Capitol is March 22nd.

In recent year it's has attracted hundreds of ag producers and Gov. John Hickenlooper called it the most popular event that happens at the state capitol.

Agriculture is one of largest contributors to the State's economy, supporting more than 173,000 jobs in Colorado, generates more than $40 billion of economic activity annually, and exported over $2 billion of food and agricultural products in 2013.
