For Wednesday’s Agri Beef Minute on the Land and Livestock Report, I’m Susan Allen. Much to the delight of Oregon Ranchers Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke as designated by President Trump, made a trip to the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument July 15th , where he conducted a thorough and precise preview.. . OCA Executive Director Jerome Rosa called “Secretary Zinke’s trip to the Cascade-Siskiyou Monument area “encouraging” for all-natural resource industries,” he added that he hoped “The gross misuse of the Antiquities Act by prior administration would be overturned.”

On that note Jon Tester Democratic Senator from Montana also praised the current administration for it’s work on getting Beef into China

TESTER: Amen to the administration on that. I’ll tell you that Secretary Ross and the others did a great job opening that market up. I can tell you that , (I don’t brag this is fact), we raise some of the best beef in the world with the best inspections in the world and to be able to have China to have access to that and by the way…., they don’t want Canadian beef, they don’t want beef from Mexico , they want US Beef ,that’s raised here and that’s inspected here. That tells you something about the quality of our products. For China to access to that I thinks speaks well for the cattlemen out there . To be able to access that that market long haul is just money in the bank .

Don’t forget each Wednesday is our Agri Beef Minute. Agri Beef Company
