CSU Day at the Stock Show Jan. 16

This Saturday, January 16th is the annual Colorado State University Day at the National Western Stock Show. During the day’s rodeo, the mutton bustin’ competition will feature future Rams, and a CSU student singing the national anthem. Colorado State University Director of Denver PR and Outreach Tiana Nelson shares more about the other exciting day’s activities
Nelson: “Throughout the day, there are plenty of other things to do. People can enjoy — we have two different CSU booths - the second floor we have a booth that talks about the National Western Center — CSU is one of five key partners that has worked on the revitalization of the National Western Center so talking about what will happen with that component in the coming decade. Then on the third floor of the Hall of Education we not only have Ag Adventure from the College of Agricultural Sciences but we will also have a large booth and will be giving away bandanas and we’ll have different information about the University and people can stop by and get some Ram pride.”
She encourages alumni to attend.
Nelson: “This is a great celebration. They can bring their kids — its very family-friendly for all ages. Cam the Ram will be there so we will have photos with Cam the Ram. It is a really a fun day and I hope people will come out and celebrate our Colorado traditions and our western heritage.”
