Wheat Futures Traded Mixed on Friday
I'm KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for Monday, June 26th. With an update of Friday's Markets here is Allendale Brokers' RJ MeyerMeyer: "Well, we've got some bearish fundamentals hitting the market today. Corn and beans under a bit of pressure while wheat is finding a bit of support. Minneapolis still leads the way, but a lot of this is coming off of two major reports. One a disappointing crop coming out of France and the other lower acreage estimates for planted wheat coming out of Canada. Additionally livestock is a bit mixed today. We've got fats and hogs under pressure while feeders are finding a little bit of support."
Chicago September wheat prices closed Friday down 1 and 1/2 cents at 4-59 and 3/4. September corn ended the day down a nickel at 3-57 and 3/4.
