12/27/05 Woman of the Year, Zitlau

Nessie Zitlau and her family own and operate the Granite Creek Guest Ranch in eastern Idaho. It's a working ranch. It's the place where you can saddle up by day and sit around the campfire at night. NESSIE "We have about four thousand acres. We run about 150 head of cow calves that we have. We started in 1992. Rather than a just a plain old dude ranch where they come to be catered to, they come to help work." SAMUEL "Hi my name is Samuel Zitlau. I am the son of Nessie Zitlau and Carl Zitlau. My Mom, she's just a sweet little lady. She's the mother of seven. She's very musical, plays the organ and the piano and guitar and she sings." Nessie Zitlau, one of the five Idaho Farm Bureau Women of the Year for 2005. Voice of Idaho Agriculture Bill Scott
