He had a very good friend that he had been working with for years and, 0h By the Way, his friend was also his Dr. But his doctor had just been doctored and wasn’t sure that he was all excited about going hunting. The weather was cold and Dennis had to work hard to persuade him.  “Dr. Roger Lang had just had back surgery, 3^rd day of thing, weather was lousy, 35 mile an hour wind and about 10°, he gets out of the van and asks why are we here and just then about 50 birds fly out of a food field over our shoulders and dive down into the snow a few hundred yards away. We made a big circle, he struggled with his back and all, we put the dog into the wind and these birds were stuck in little tunnels. We had 20 points in 20 min. High-quality stuff, birds getting up on both sides, he’s holding the point, it couldn’t have been better, every time we see each other we talk about that. That was about as much quality as the time that we tracked 1 bird and had 20 points and I think the bird was a hen. A very clever hen.
