  Black tail archery season in Oregon. Some suggestions. Had a conversation with Terry Horton of Broken Arrow Archery in MILWAUKIE, OR. about the upcoming black tailed season. Listen in.  If you’re going after black tail with a bow, tell me what you would recommend.  The 2012 bows just arrived in the last week or 2 and Matthews has one out called the Helium. It only weighs 3 ½ pounds. If a single cam compound bow. It has a new riser, roller guard, and cam which makes it really light and fast. Hoit  has one out and they are the only one with a carbon riser and it is called the carbon element and it is also 3 ½ pounds. Give me the price ranges. Those two the high end bows. The Matthews is $989 and the Hoit is  $1350. We start our packages out at $399 for starter bows. What is in the package? It comes with a sight, rest, quiver, peep sight loop, and a stabilizer depending on which package you pick.
