9-23 SS Fishing Derby

 Big fishing tournaments this weekend.  Super angler Peter Flohr  from Hooked on Toys in Wenatchee, Washington called me up to announce that there are 2 fishing tournaments being held locally this weekend and they start tonight. Here is Peter. “It is a big weekend this weekend, we have a Pike Minnow Derby out of Crescent Bar and we have a salmon derby that the Knights of Columbus in Griggs is putting on out of the Vernita area. A lot of money on the line in both tournaments. Pike Minnow Derby There is one fish tagged with $10,000 and for others worth $5000 and there is another $15,000 on the table in prizes that will be given away. Tell me the time and the place and how we sign up for it . We start fishing at 6:30 on Friday night and is being staged out of Crescent Bar, that is where the weigh in is. If you register at the launch is $20 for adults and $10 for children. I will be out there with my kids and partner Don after we go down to Vernita and hook some big salmon in that Derby.
