Just about everywhere you look in the media, you hear either commentary or quotations protesting the election. I have to confess that I am disgusted by the fact that there are so many protests, there is so much discussion about trying to get even Republican representatives to not go with the electoral college and try to rescind the results of the presidential election. Listen to a speech presented by Idaho Lieutenant Governor Brad Little to Idaho Farm Bureau members. "Donald Trump isn't a country boy in case you hadn't noticed. I think we are going to have to have a log of input into what is going to take place going forward. As rural areas shrink and urban areas grow, agriculture's voice in the legislature continues to be under pressure. For the first time in my life around the legislature, the Senate resources committee now has the majority of people who are not from farm areas. I never thought I would ever see that but that is one indicator of what takes place every 10 years when we do a re-apportionment. It is important for you to work with the Farm Bureau and stay active so that our voice is heard. On the national level, full disclosure, I never saw this one coming. Driving around Idaho I was pretty confident but I was hearing all these things and I believe that what some of those people were saying. The day after the election I had five meetings and in every one of them, we talk about a problem that radiated from the federal government."
