The Risk Management Agency has a reminder for Idaho producers on their 2006 Multi Peril Crop Insurance closing dates. January 31st is the final date to obtain or change Adjusted Gross Revenue Pilot insurance in Idaho and it's the final date to submit the required documents to continue the AGR-Lite insurance for existing policy holders in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. February first is the final date to obtain or change crop insurance coverage for spring planted onions in Idaho and Oregon. March 15th is the final date to obtain AGR-Lite insurance for new application enrollment policies in Idaho and Oregon. Producers should contact a local MPCI agent to learn additional program details. Idaho's largest water user group will hold its 68th annual convention this week. The Idaho Water Users Association meeting in Garden City will cover just about every water issue that the state faces today. Bureau of Reclamation commissioner John Keys and Idaho Water Resources Director Karl Dreyer are just two of the speakers scheduled to appear at the three day event beginning Tuesday.
