This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. The Beef Market firms up but fails to break out following stronger Boxed Beef prices. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Up 9 ½, to finish at 5-47 ¼. May Corn was Up 2, to finish the day at 4-41 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Up 10, to settle at 5-98 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 15 - Unch, ranging from 5-60 to 6-05. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Unch, ranging 5-50 to 6-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Up 10, ranging from 6-63 ¾ to 6-73 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were Up 7 ¼, ranging from 7-60 to 7-65.

Live Cattle for April were Unch, closing at 187.60. April Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.00, to finish the day at 253.10. April Class III milk was Dn $.16, to settle at 15.92.
