This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Cash Cattle continue to trend higher, however Live and Feeder Cattle hit a wall as prices fell yesterday. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 12, to finish at 5-32 ¼. May Corn was Dn 7 ½, to finish the day at 4-33 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Dn 12 ¾, to settle at 5-74 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 20, ranging from 5-60 to 5-80. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for May were Dn 10-20, ranging 5-35 to 5-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Dn 14 ½ - 12 ¾, ranging from 6-38 to 6-54 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were Dn 8 ¼, ranging from 7-45 ¼ to 7-50 ¼.

Live Cattle for April were Dn $2.67 ½, closing at 183.37 ½. April Feeder Cattle were Dn $3.77 ½, to finish the day at 254.82 ½. April Class III milk was Up $.06, to settle at 16.25.
