Anheuser-Busch is the First Company to Certify Products as “U.S. Farmed”

Beer Giant Anheuser-Busch becomes the first company to certify as “U.S. Farmed,” even adding the distinctive seal to its packaging this spring. This seal indicates a product derives at least 95 percent of its agricultural ingredients from American farms.

“We have proudly supported U.S. farmers and the entire agricultural community for 165 years. That's who we are.”

That’s John Rogers, Chief Procurement Officer at Anheuser-Busch. He says the company jumped at the opportunity to become U.S. Farm Certified.

“U.S. Farm Certified was this incredible opportunity to strengthen our commitment to US agriculture and to American farmers. It's highly aligned to what we really value in terms of the quality of local ingredients.”

“Very excited that we as Anheuser-Busch and that Bush Light can carry this seal and hopefully inspire other companies in the consumer-packaged goods space… to go and certify their qualified products, bring the seal to life so that consumers…have the ability to make a conscious decision on buying products that are grown in the United States that directly support the livelihood of our Great American farmers.”
