NCBA CEO Says Department of Defense Feeding Fake Meat to Military is Unacceptable

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) has condemned a Department of Defense (DOD) sponsored research grant that will fund the development of lab-grown meat products by manufacturing company BioMADE.

During the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association Convention in Colorado Springs, NCBA CEO Colin Woodall said this is unacceptable.

NCBA members will be gathering in a couple weeks in San Diego for their Summer Business Meeting July 8-10.
