MagGrow Uses Magnetic Technology to Improve Crop Chemical Spraying

Conventional spraying of crop protective chemicals, often controlling drift is a concern. What if there was a product that could reduce that waste and control drift? Well after three years of developing new products MagGrow, a company based out of Ireland, now has some exciting solutions for crop producers as Founding member and CEO of MagGrow Gary Wickham explains how his product differs

Wickham: "Conventional technology tries to control drift, but can't achieve good coverage and get the product to the crop — it can't do both," Wickham points out. "Seventy percent of what they spray is wasted. It goes into the rivers and streams. We stop all that from happening. We reduce that waste to less than 10 percent by passing the fluid through magnetic systems and basically making it easier for the drop to detach to the crop. So growers now have a solution to control drift and also get better coverage, which means they'll have good yields and be using less to grow more."

He continues

Wickham: "So basically we spent three years developing our technology. It is new. It doesn't exist in the world. It is patented. We've developed four products which we have launched in the last four months.

MagGrow is working with several international ag companies channels to distribute their products throughout seven territories on four continents.
